Refund Policy

Schoolyra runs on pay-as-you-go credits (one credit grades one paper). This policy explains when credit purchases can be refunded.
1. Unused credits
You can request a refund of unused credits within 14 days of your purchase confirmation. The refund covers the credits still in your balance at the time of the request; credits already spent on graded papers are non-refundable, since the grading service has been delivered.
2. How to request a refund
Send an email to payments@schoolyra.com stating your order number (in the format EXM-YYYY-MM-NNNN, shown on your purchase confirmation) and how many credits remain unused.
3. Timing and method
We process eligible requests within 5 business days. The refund is made by transfer to the bank account used for the original payment, pro-rated to the unused credits. The corresponding credits are removed from your balance once the refund is confirmed.
4. Free trial credits
Free credits granted on signup or as a promotion have no monetary value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
5. Exclusions
- Credits already spent on graded papers (service delivered).
- Free or promotional credits.
- Requests older than 14 days, except for a proven major defect of the service.
- Accounts in breach of the terms of service (credit sharing or reselling).
- Manifestly abusive or fraudulent requests.
